Yuri Branco

Hello, I’m Yuri. With a background in linguistics and teaching English, I bring a unique and insightful approach to speech pathology. I have over a decade of experience working with children and am committed to making a positive impact on young lives.

As a parent who has lived in four different countries, I understand the realities of family life. My goal is to build a genuine connection with each family and provide therapy that respects your unique situation. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, which allows me to connect with and support families from diverse backgrounds in a warm and welcoming way.

My training and experience cover key areas of paediatric speech pathology, including:

Sounds-Write: I am trained in this program to support children with reading and spelling.

Hanen ‘More Than Words’: I am certified in this program to empower parents to support their child’s social communication skills.

Lidcombe Stuttering Program: I have training in this program for treating stuttering in young children.

PODD Workshop: I have completed training in Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD) communication books and have experience with various forms of AAC.

Speech Sound Difficulties: I have experience in treating speech sound difficulties, including interdental and lateral lisps.

Autism: I have experience in supporting children with autism.

AAC: I work with children who are nonverbal, helping them find their voice through Augmentative and Alternative Communication
